Challenge

Dubrovnik Daily needed a modern home for its local news and a simple way for the team to publish, promote advertisers and grow a newsletter list. We took on the whole project, from design through to development.

Strategy

We started with the structure: what readers need to scan the news fast, and what the team needs to publish without help. From there we designed every screen in Figma, desktop and mobile together, and built it all on one shared design system. We build and ship fast, and we now bring AI into our production, with senior designers and developers making every call.

Brand

A simple black and white identity with a calm editorial voice. Four typefaces, each with one job, and color used only where it carries meaning.

Website

The public site is live with a story slider, a Latest feed across five categories, Featured Advertisers, Editor's Picks, a Trending list and a weekly newsletter. An Advertise With Us page captures leads from local businesses.

CMS Dashboard

A custom dashboard built on the same design system. The team writes and publishes posts, manages media, tracks advertisers and sees newsletter subscribers, all without a developer. Built and hosted on the client's own server.

Outcome

From design to development to hosting, we delivered the full product in one month. Fast delivery with senior level craft, and AI working inside our production. The client owns the code, the hosting and the workflow.
